Santa Cruz to Monterey and Monterey-August 30-31

We departed Santa Cruz for Monterey at 1:00 p.m. on August 30.  We crossed Monterey Bay under our jib.  Mixed seas slapped us around  a bit in the late afternoon.  Around 6:00 p.m. we tied up in our slip in the Monterey Marina.  The next day we enjoyed a Greek festival at the harbor and walked past Cannery Row to the Monterey Aquarium.  Eulalie’s brother, John and his family and our nephew Liam joined us for dinner.
